This week: Fans and Milestones
Not much to report on this week. Still plugging away at Eradication, and to help with some of the difficulties, I took a little break and started outlining a book that will be released later this year. As of right now, the working title is "Rewrite," and will be a time travel thriller set in the months leading up to the outbreak of WWI. Think Terminator, but without the machines and about seventy years earlier.
This week, I had a visit from Kathy, one of my absolute biggest fans who has pre-ordered each of my books (even Eradication!) which I have happily provided signed and personalized. She's in town for my sister-in-law's baby shower, but stopped by the house and I took the opportunity to get a picture together (below). Thank you Kathy for being a fan!
Finally, I've been publishing my books now for about 6 months now, and this month I reached some milestones that I honestly thought would take longer to achieve. I have now sold the equivalent of 110 books between Containment and Quarantine (I say equivalent because some of those sales come in the form of borrows/page reads through Kindle Unlimited, but still technically count as units paid for). All in all, it comes out to around $600 in retail sales. Obviously my cut is a smaller portion of that, but it is something that I am proud of, and grateful to everyone that has helped me get there.
As always, if you haven't yet, please head over to Amazon and leave a review for Containment and Quarantine if you haven't already done so. It helps my books get visibility and in front of more readers' eyes. Thank you again for checking in!
Until next time...
